What we do
Buying in Spain means dealing with public records written in Spanish and administrative codes: the Catastro, the Land Registry and the flood and planning maps. Most of that information is public and free, but it’s spread over different government websites and hard to read if you don’t know where to look.
We check a property against those public sources and explain what we find in plain English. Our guides cover the rest of the process, from the NIE number to property taxes, and are checked against official Spanish sources.

- We are not a government service, and we are not affiliated with the Dirección General del Catastro, the Colegio de Registradores, IGN or MITECO.
- We are not lawyers, gestores or tax advisers, and nothing on this site is legal or tax advice.
- We are not an estate agent and have no properties to sell.
